SEGMENT #3 -  In March of 1978 now-"This Way Out" Coordinating Producer GREG GORDON took a trip to Northern California to visit friends.  He was a volunteer with the gay and lesbian radio show called "IMRU" on KPFK in Los Angeles, so his hosts arranged an interview with their newly elected San Francisco Supervisor.  Had he lived beyond his first year in office, many believe that his political savvy, street smarts, and obvious charm could have propelled him to even higher electoral victories.  An Oscar-winning movie has generated renewed interest in this historic figure.  Part of our discussion – 31 years ago this month – cover r ed local issues and some of the gay personalities of the day.
